an autumn read

i'm currently reading this novel. as a literature major i'm not sure how it never showed up on my syllabi, but i've recovered enough to want to start revisiting the classics i read by assignment, as well as the ones i missed.

boy, was she worth the wait. jane eyre is an amazing woman.

these soon-to-be-released book covers have been posted and re-posted at least a billion times all over the blogosphere, but i don't care. they're beautiful, and i want them all. i think they'd be instrumental in my ongoing recovery as a former (let's face it, lifelong) English major, don't you?

cloth bound books designed by Coralie Bickford-Smith

ahem, what are you waiting for? go put on some fingerless gloves (so you can still turn the pages), get a peppermint hot chocolate, sink down into a chair, and read (but first tell me which book)!

in booklove,
she.
