i'm totally wearing a cardigan with sequins on it today.
and i totally...totally want this bag.
in other related news: i'm coming back around to a healthy appreciation of the color navy. before i discovered my style-self, all i wore was navy blue and forest green. NOT the most flattering colors for an Asian, i'll tell you that. but they were subdued and safe. i didn't stick out too much when i wore them. i blended in.
well the past 11 years have been spent recovering and re-emerging from that former blended-in self. my trifecta of colors are vibrant pink, bright purple, and turquoise. i've also been adding some orange as of late...and it's been wonderful. after a complete departure from navy (i don't think there's been one navy item in my wardrobe for a decade), i'm coming back slowly. and i'm seeing that it can be a beautifully understated and elegant hue.
